Sustainability
Bernhard H. Mayer is more than just a brand – it’s a family.
It is the name of the brand’s founder – Bernhard H. Mayer. He was a brother, a father, a visionary, an entrepreneur, and someone who cared deeply about the world we live in. And he passed this down to his successors. Today we keep his memory alive through our designs and by striving to make our brand fully sustainable.
All of us, including our founder, turned to Mother Nature for inspiration and materials. Everything around us comes from her. Therefore, it only makes sense to do our part to protect her.
“The Responsible Jewellery Council is a member organisation bringing together companies of all shapes and sizes, from right across the global jewellery and watch supply chain. What unites us is our shared belief that all jewellery should be produced responsibly, without causing harm to people or the planet and that this can only be achieved by working together, and in partnership with others.”

Our goal is to use recycled gold across all our collections in strict compliance with the RJC Code of Practice*, a global standard for the jewellery supply chain – from mine to retail. Each piece is designed and crafted with our founder’s legacy in mind, encapsulating our belief that jewellery, luxury, and sustainability can coexist.
* RJC Members only use recycled gold from sources identified by The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
